UPDATE: Important Note For Recruits and the Members

The Guild is looking for new members who would like to actively participate and build the Wild Wolves community. The guild is currently in a semi-active state, meaning there are good players still playing, however due to the lack of active people the guild leadership does not officially organise events, however all members are invited to make those events among and by themselves. The guild still provides voice communication and other perks (like the event calendar.)

This means that any guild member can create and call others to join his or her event, and inform officers about it to create and announce that event in the in-game calendar.

You should see this as giving full power to our guild members, as well as your opportunity to shape the guild!

We hope this sheds some light upon how the guild functions right now, thank you for your interest in the guild and hope to see you with us!

Midnight Flirts and Wild Wolves Gang Clash

Wild Wolves and Midnight Flirts gang clash was shot last Saturday about 4 am in the city of Dalaran. Midnight Flirt’s Gnome Squad plus their Big Boy pet Steven versus Wild Wolves Menagerie Squad. Guess the winner! Reportedly Garreth and the Big Boy pet Steven even joined Wild Wolves for a duration of 5 minutes, not to overstay their welcome. Couldn’t even make a cuppa! You may press here to see the photo in full resolution. More is to be investigated on this issue due to certain allegations of Khadgar’s We. from Mexico being sold and consumed among the Wolves.

Guild Rating, End of October Poll

This is how you rated us: 3.97 (out of 5) grade average. Not bad! But obviously there’s space for improvement.

Here are some of your ideas that you would like to see done in the guild.

  1. You wanted more raids. Result: raids to be organised more frequently.
  2. You wanted organised mythic dungeons. Result: mythic dungeons organised from time to time through the in-game Calendar. Would like more?
  3. You wanted PvP events. Result: PvP events are now organised.
  4. You want events other than raids, like achievement runs, time-walking dungeons, etc. Well, we hear you! We are hoping to create such events in near future too. Keep checking your in game calendar.

There’s no point in hiding the “bad” stuff, so here are a few not-so-good things you fairly mentioned: silence on TS (we got the Jukebox tho!), sometimes slow raids (that has changed in the last two normal runs, hasn’t it?), people need to know their class better (this is a tricky one! we don’t have class leaders yet, but we do have players, so you can have a chat and find out something you might not have known… also, normal raids are on “farm” now – and that’s a good practice, no?)

Thanks for all your input. Much appreciated. Remember, that you too can shape the Guild you play in. Give us a whisper in game and let us know how you’d improve it!

Ranged Damage Dealers

Note: switch to Dread Abominations immediately (players who turned into a monster)

Phase 1

  • this is the positioning for the phase 1: see here; you must stand within the green circle
  • switch to Corruption Horror immediately when it spawns
  • instantly move away from Lurking Eruption created beneath you and move away from Lurking Terror that spawns in that place – if Lurking Terror fixates you, you must be running away from it
  • if targeted by the “Nightmare Blades” (red arrow appears above your head) move to the side of the area (see). Keep in mind that the blades hit everybody between you and the other targeted player, the distance between you and the other player doesn’t matter, what matters is the way you and that other targeted player are faced to each other – observe the black line and the two red arrows here.
  • at all times stay away from designated location from dispelling tanks’ debuffs (the yellow circle)

Phase 2

  • the boss is pulled to the middle, remain standing where you were, but spread slightly more than during phase 1
  • switch immediately to Inconceivable Horrors which spawn on the borders of the area, once the add is dead stay away from the pool it leaves behind because it fills your Corruption Meter unless you are a Dreamer (if the pool is not soaked the add reforms in that place)
  • if you are a target of “Corruption Meteor” move to the designated area or to other players to split and share the damage of the meteor

Phase 3

  • ignore Nightmare Tentacles unless you can cleave them, priority target is Xavius during this phase
  • move to the side as in phase 1 if you are a target of the “Nightmare Blades”
  • if you are targeted by “Corruption Meteor” stay stacked with other players

Dream Simulacrum

If you are put to dream during the first two phases of the fight you must disregard your Corruption Meter and do the following tasks.

  • phase 1: intercept the Lurking Terror (run towards and hit it with your body and the add will disappear)
  • phase 2: move to and stand in “Tainted Discharge,” that is the pool left in the place where an Inconceivable Horror was killed, until the pool disappears; help split “Corruption Meteor” damage
  • phase 1 and phase 2: use cooldowns freely as they are restored once you “wake up”

Melee Damage Dealers

Note: switch to Dread Abominations immediately (players who turned into a monster)

Phase 1

  • this is the positioning for the phase 1: see here; you must stand on the side of the boss between the boss and the area for “Nightmare Blades” (the black line)

Keep in mind that the blades hit everybody between you and the other targeted player, the distance between you and the other player doesn’t matter, what matters is the way you and that other targeted player are faced to each other – observe the black line and the two red arrows here.
  • at all times stay away from designated location from dispelling tanks’ debuffs (the yellow circle) – never follow the tank and the boss together if they move towards that position
  • never stand in front of the face of the boss
  • never stand in front of the face of a Corruption Horror

Phase 2

  • the boss is pulled to the middle, follow the boss, and avoid facing it as in the phase 1
  • switch to Inconceivable Horrors once they are close to the boss. They spawn on the borders of the area, and once the add is dead stay away from the pool it leaves behind because it fills your Corruption Meter unless you are a Dreamer (if the pool is not soaked the add reforms in that place)
  • if you are a target of “Corruption Meteor” move to the designated area or to other players to split and share the damage of the meteor

Phase 3

  • phase 1 and phase 2: use cooldowns freely as they are restored once you “wake up”

Healers

Note: stay away from dangerously looking pools/swirls, unless it is said otherwise in the text below.

Phase 1

  • this is the positioning for the phase 1: see here; you must stand within the green circle (if you are a paladin healer: you must stand on the side of the boss between the boss and the area for “Nightmare Blades” (the black line), and moving to green when necessary)
  • never stand in front of the face of the boss
  • never stand in front of the face of a Corruption Horror
  • use cooldowns on tanks at high stacks of “Darkening Soul”
  • at all times stay away from designated location from dispelling tanks’ debuffs (the yellow circle)
  • dispel “Darkening Soul” only if you are a Dreamer when the tank is on the designated place (yellow circle, as here)

Phase 2

  • the boss is pulled to the middle, avoid facing it, spread slightly more
  • if you are a target of “Corruption Meteor” move to the designated area or to other players to split and share the damage of the meteor
  • use cooldowns on tanks at high stacks of “Blackening Soul”
  • dispel “Blackening Soul” only if you are a Dreamer when the tank is on the designated place (yellow circle, as here)

Phase 3

  • move to the side as in phase 1 if you are a target of the “Nightmare Blades”
  • if you are targeted by “Corruption Meteor” stay stacked with other players
  • use raid cool downs for “Manifest Corruption” and “Corruption Meteor” damage during phase 3

Dream Simulacrum

If you are put to dream during the first two phases of the fight you must disregard your Corruption Meter and do the following tasks.

  • phase 1: dispel “Darkening Soul” debuff after each tank swap
  • phase 2: dispel the “Blackening Soul” debuff after each tank swap
  • phase 1 and phase 2: use cooldowns freely as they are restored once you “wake up”

Tanks

Phase 1

  • tank the boss where it is, faced 180° from its initial position (must not be facing anybody but you)
  • do not take the Corruption Horror add unless you are a Dreamer
  • take as many stacks of  Darkening Soul as you can survive, using heavier cooldowns at higher stacks
  • run away to a designated location for  Darkening Soul to be dispelled (yellow circle:  here)

Phase 2

  • pull the boss to the middle
  • take as many stacks of  Blackening Soul as you can survive, using heavier cooldowns at higher stacks
  • the Dream tank must taunt Xavius for the duration of the  Nightmare Infusion buff
  • a medal for tanking:
    • Move Xavius away from approaching Inconceivable Horrors if possible

Phase 3

  • time tank swaps so that a different tank is tanking for each of Xavius’s  Nightmare Infusion buffs
  • drag Xavius near clumps of Nightmare Tentacles only if it is convenient to do so
  • use cooldowns frequently to help the healers, as raid damage during this phase is very high

Dream Simulacrum

If you are put to dream during the first two phases of the fight you must disregard your Corruption Meter and do the following tasks.
